For hypertrophy should I do 10 to 12 reps per set or 70 percent of my 1RM per set?
I’ve always gone for reps. In the 15 rep area though.
Exhaust the target muscle or muscle groups and hypertrophy will happen. This can be done at any number of reps to induce growth, its a question of how much growth? Anabolism and catabolism happen on a sliding scale of intensity in the body not in a on or off light switch manner.
